The Costs for Super Bowl Commercials |

The Super Bowl has often attracted even more viewers through their Super Bowl Commercials. Shockingly enough, there are some viewers who don't care who the Super Bowl Winners are or who will make Super Bowl history for that year. These viewers are typically attracted to another big spectacle: The Super Bowl Commercials.
Super Bowl commercials are known for their high-profile advertisements. The advertisements are competing against one another, so that each commercial can out-do the other in order for their brand to be familiarized in the viewers' minds. Therefore, these Super Bowl commercials are often highly comedic, very sexual, and/or are just plain strange. In 2007, 30 seconds of advertising time cost $2.6 million dollars due to the extremely large audience of 90 million viewers. In 2009, the projected cost of a 30-second commercial on average will be $3 million. This is according to NBC, who will carry the game telecast. Of course, this does not even include the costs it takes to make the commercial itself.
Fortunately, many of the Super Bowl commercials are available for viewing on the internet, through websites, such as YouTube (see above).
