super bowl history, super bowl winners

I have to give Boston Patriots Safety Rodney Harrison props for maintaining a sunny attitude about the Patriots' failure to make Super Bowl history when they lost out to the Giants and ended the season 18-1. I mean everyone just assumed that the Patriots would be the eventual Super Bowl winners after their incredible undefeated season. Like many people watching the game I figured that the Pats would make Super Bowl history by trouncing the Giants and finishing their season with 19 wins and no losses. But Peyton Manning and his teammates had other ideas, and instead, the Giants made Super Bowl history with one of the biggest upsets ever in the NFL. However, Rodney Harrison is resolutely not looking backward. Instead, he is focused on the upcoming season and whatever new challenges the Fall 2008 football season will bring. In a recent article profiling Harrison that appeared on the Canadian Press website, Harrison was quoted as saying, ""I don't know why you guys keep talking about last year...That is behind me. I'm not even thinking about last year. I'm so excited about this year and that's what I'm focused on." No doubt, Harrison is thinking about the Super Bowl history the Pats will make this year.
