18-1 Patriots! Ah!
I am still gloating over the Patriots' loss in Super Bowl XLII loss to NFC "novice" team the New York Giants! Who sez the Giants are novices? I think Bill Belichick did. He was so arrogant that he missed an obvious play in the late third quarter that kept Po-Bowl kicker Gostkowski on the sidelines when there was a fourth and 13 from the Giant's 32 and the score was 7-3. Gostkowski remained on the sidelines and the offensive unit remained on the field!
Everybody knew he had messed up except for the person who counted-Belichick himself! This must be why Belichick walked off the field in the last seconds of the game. It must be why he had the most bitter look on his face when he was being interviewed by Terry Bradshaw. Too bad! This is what happenS with arrogance ! 18-1 New England Patriots!
