The odds for The Washington Redskins to win Super Bowl XLIII are 40/1. The Skins are hoping to repeat making the playoffs as they did last season, especially since they have a new coach. The Redskins didn’t make a huge impact in free agency this year, and decided to bring back key players from last years post season team. A big rehire was Todd Collins, who helped lead the Redskins to a great playoff run last season. Recently they did trade two draft picks to get Jason Taylor, former Miami Dolphins defensive end. Taylor should boost the pass rush.
Due to their solid draft, experts are not necessarily sour on the Redskins. To give Jason Campbell more targets receivers Devin Thomas, Malcolm Kelly and tight end Fred Davis were added in the second round. Playing in a stacked NFC East with the Dallas Cowboys and defending Super Bowl champs, the New York Giants, will be one of their biggest issues.
