If you have not been very closely following the NFL this season, you have been missing out big time. One of the reasons is last year's Super Bowl winners, the Colts, and all the crazy things they have been doing trying to keep their title intact. Such as being the only team in the NFL to ever have five consecutive seasons with twelve or more wins. But there is another major contender who has also been crowned as Super Bowl winner three times this decade, and that is the Patriots.
As they stand now, the Pats face one more team before going 16-0 for a perfect season in the NFL – a feat not done since the 1972 Dolphins went 14-0 (back then there were only fourteen games in the NFL season, they also went undefeated in the playoffs and were Super Bowl winners that year).
But what is even more astonishing is that the Pats do have a chance of making modern day Super Bowl history and going undefeated in the playoffs, and actually beating the Fin's record. On top of that, Brady is set to break the all time touchdown record, Moss is set to break the receiving touchdown record and the team is set to be one of just three other elite teams with four Super Bowl wins, and too boot, all within an eight year span which would definitely be Super Bowl history.
